Following the tradition since 1986, the Commission Organized for the Letra del Año met on 31 December 2022 at the House Temple located at Ave. 10 de Octubre, no. 1509, between Josefina y Gertrudis, Vibora, Municipio 10 de Octubre, City of Havana, Cuba.

This ceremony was presided over by the Ifá Priest Gaspar Mesa, Awó Osá Kana, with the support of the Priests of Ifá of the majority of the families of Cuba and their descendants in the World. The youngest Ifá priest took out the sign.

She originates in Abeokuta, with a temple in the neighborhood of Ibara, on the shores of the Odó Ogún (the Medicinal River), Nigeria. Divinity of Rivers and Sweet Waters. She is received to escape poverty and protect the home and our family—over which she is the protector.

Accompanying Deity: Orisha Okó. Osha of Agriculture. It is said he was King of Irawó (An Ancient City in Nigeria). For a time he was a warrior. His principal talent was as a hunter.
